General Appearance: straight black messy hair about shoulder length. rose quartz colored eyes. Tired and lonely. lip scar. Tomboyish in appearance. (hidden by uniform) heavily scarred torso from nearly being ripped apart and several slash/stab/claw wound scars.
Psychological Profile
Despite being a capable fighter, Rin seems to have a distaste for combat. Whenever someone else is in danger they seem more motivated to interfere or end whatever threat has presented itself. Often seen as showboating or trying too hard they have a contentious relationship with their fellow graduates, a thing further strained by the fact that Rin manifested a Zanpakuto instead of utilizing an Asauchi. While this garnered some attention from the Older guard it leaves Rin in a state of semi isolation. Not notable enough to have good standing amongst the Older members, and having done things just different enough from her peers to keep her from building any meaningful connection. Outside the uniform (seemingly rare) Rin can often be found in commoners clothing akin to the Rukon districts attire.
Zanpakutō File
Zanpakutō Spirit:
Being a recent enough graduate. Rin's Zanpakuto spirit has yet to manifest or reveal itself to their wielder. Kubikajiri.
Like their name suggests, Kubikajiri has the appearance of an emaciated upper half of a humanoid figure. Long tangled milky white hair, leathered skin that clings to the skeleton with seeming no muscle. Eyes a jaundiced type of yellow with sunken eyes, a sinister wide smile that extends from ear to ear. No lower half as they seem to float. Spindly long digits that cling to a head (the head varies to the last defeated enemy) Kubikajiri usually feasts on. As they've not formerly met with Rin the relationship currently is unknown.
Inner World
Somber graveyard with a broken Kami gate. The graves seem to ever change upon each visit representing those Rin was unable to save. A manifestation meant to push Rin to keep up the fight to keep the graves from growing in number.
Sealed Zanpakutō
A blade about 35 cm in length with a slight curve. A small hook near the handle protrudes up and curls towards the blade. This Kabutowari is a dull gray resembling stone more than a steel blade. A porcelain handle wrapped in a milky white chord.
Documented History
Prologue
A vague memory kept in Rin's dreams. An act of violence where Rin seems to step in to fight of an assailant of some sort and left in a pool of her own blood. Prior to becoming a Shinigami, Rin spent her time in the Rukon intervening in various fights. From thugs trying to rob a poor soul, to at one point fighting a Shinigami that to Rin's eyes was about to kill a Rukon resident for some unknown slight. It wasn't until one of the hollow attacks where Rin got herself torn up trying to buy time for others to escape and a Shinigami arrived to see an unarmed soul hold off such a threat on her own.
This led to Rin's entrance into the Academy where she learned about Spirit control and manifested her blade on the recommendation of the Shinigami who found her mid fight. Ever since Rin had been isolated as an "old guard suck-up", which has led to several fights where Rin only fought back when a weapon was involved, in which she responded by breaking bones or attempting to sever the arm holding the weapon. Such violence and history led to Rin being picked up into the 11th Division upon graduating.
Relevant Background
Rin has done nothing of note, seemingly on purpose. One of the only 11th division that doesn't seem to crave or love fighting. Rin rarely gets involved unless she see's someone in danger or is explicitly ordered to do so.
