We got talking about him and I don't think we ever really got to say good bye. For those of you who don't know this is In'ei. He is no longer with us and we still miss him. So here's to you In'ei you were a good man and I know you are missed.
My very first topic was with Mizuhana, his other character. We did not get to finish it, but it was essential in me breaking the ice and actually RPing here. I won't forget how good of a guy he was or how much fun he was to just talk to. Good-bye, In'ei.

I actually met In'ei when he was looking for an Espada to serve under. He was a nice guy, really smart, but he told me some of his problems and I felt bad for him. When I heard what happened to him it was beyond depressing because I mean, he was a regular in the CB, in there for hours on in screwing around with all of us which really makes you a part of the site in the end. Him dying really was beyond terrible and though I never had a chance to make that promised thread with him, BG did become a dimmer place in In'ei's absence.
May he be in a better place and may he suffer no longer.

It's been a little over three months since I quit this site. I fell out of touch with a lot of you, including In'ei.
In'ei was a great friend. He was always friendly, he was always there for a chat, he was always there if you needed to talk. I met him on this site, and I wish I'd talked to him more when I left this site.
The man felt like a very close friend of mine. This is the first I've heard of his death, and... I'm very saddened. It's hit me hard. After seeing all of my old friends, to learn that one was driven to take his own life.
We had much fun together, back when I roleplayed on this site. We often talked, we planned for our characters together, talked about techniques. We were gonna take over Hueco Mundo together, two dogs having eachother's backs.
I raise a glass to the friends of old, those who have moved on before us. May the memories of In'ei continue to make us smile long after he no longer can.
Man, that cuts straight to the heart. To hear of one of our members taking his own life.
I can remember working with the man on the armor he wanted to craft. It was pretty awesome, although he never did quite manage to come up with a proper justification for it. The best we managed was an alternative to a Vaizard Mask.
But this really puts things into perspective. This game, this forum, is a family. We all need to work together, communicate, lift one another up, and support eachother in times of trouble. This should not only be a forum in the internet sense, but in the community sense. A place where people can gather together to share in one another's company and reinforce eachother as part of something larger than themselves.
Rules which I reject (by agreeing to a thread with me, you are agreeing to fight by these rules.)
* Dodging is a simple Speed stat vs Attack Speed check, there is no skill check involved in whether or not a dodge is successful.
Seireitei is crumbling and the Gotei is a shell of its former self. Ravaged by the plague, the surviving Shinigami struggle to maintain the balance, but with so few of them left, the work is taxing and their fortress-city has fallen to neglect. Spread thin across all fronts, their diminished presence has been noted by friend and foe alike.
The Arrancar have rebuilt Las Noches and are rallying. The throne remains empty, but self-styled Espada have risen up from among them and are vying for control, each one endlessly testing the others’ weaknesses. Too evenly matched for any one of them to claim the crown, they bide their time, waiting for the opportune moment.
On Earth, all seems well—but there is a war being fought in the shadows as the mortals find themselves lacking the protection they once had and so sorely need. The Quincy, having realized the oppressive specter of the Shinigami is no more, are flourishing, and are fighting the Hollow-breeds with renewed vigor.
