Age / Apparent Age:
Height & Weight:
Hair & Eye Color:
Soulful and restless spirits fade through Itada's eyes, which when not painted purple and black by his [insert name] are shaded an elegant onyx. They peer outward gently, almost timid like-- and yet you can tell by the way they seemingly peirce through your soul that they've witnessed the horrors of murder. A mane of lush hair– wild, yet tamed beyond repute, falls graciously down the Quincy's back stopping just above the start of his buttocks.
Standing around six feet, two inches and weighing about one hundred sixty lbs one would come to believe that he'd hardly be worth a challenge. It is in this illusion- the illusion of frailness- that most his victims find themselves fooled, and rewarded with a swift and murderous stroke of his sword. While he doesn't exactly look the part of a killer, that is exactly what he is. Trained to be elite since he was only a boy, Itada's body is toned and fit in just the right places. If were one to see the boy naked, they would find a number of small scars and bruises upon his body. Minor and barely worth a second glance, these scars are proof of a battle tested warrior.
Secluded far from other clansmen did little to detour Itada from embracing the true heritage of the Sōsuke clan, and can clearly be seen in his clothing. Often times, Itada can be seen wearing light, loose fitting clothing typical of that of a shinobi. His robes are often colored black, or are of a darker grey. In rare times, mostly on a whim, Itada can be seen wearing dark blue clothing. Regardless of the color, every shirt is crafted with an magatama symbol easily visible upon the boy's back. Bandages are wrapped around both his hands, but in varying intensities; the left, bandages extend all the way up to his shoulder, while the right bandages stop at his elbow. Additionally, the leader of the Sōsuke also dons a pair of thick black gloves , gifting the warrior with an added grip when needed.
Itada is a Quincy of the order, and as such carries his quincy cross hanging loosely from his right wrist. He also dons a a necklace containing six magatama shaped ornaments. Being the same shape as the tomoe in his left eye, they serve as representation of his family name.
Well versed in the ancient artifacts of the Quincy Order, the Sōsuke has also been able to hand craft his very own form of the Reishi Heiso. This "Spiritual War Garb" is the same as all others save for its' appearance. Instead of being skin tight, it is a protective habiliment formed into multiple protective guards along his body designed as a bright red piecemail armor.
Coming from a family of shinobi, Itada's spiritual pressure embodies all that it means to be a ninja: powerful, swift, and most of all, stealthy. Not to say that it isn't there— because it certainly is-- but it is a quiet one. Soothing, soft, and gentle, the Sōsuke's spiritual pressure is designed to be overlooked. If one could see spritual pressure as colors, Itada's would have none. Instead, appearing as a transluscent haze.
Embedded in the ideals and disciplines of his noble blood, Itada is quite the aristocratic envoy. Drowned in the laws, regulations, and teachings of the Quincy Order since he was a child, failure to repect and comply with such will cause for his immediate attention, and corresponding force. The Sōsuke fears not punishing his own suboordinates, or those of the Order if their actions threaten the livelihoods of his fellow mortals or the traditions and teachings of the Order himself.
Coddled since a child under the umbrella of such a powerful family, Itada is more than confident in his own abilities. This confidence, coupled with what he has learned and accomplished, has created a being not only calm and disciplined, but arrogant and callous as well. In his eyes, for him to recieve a challenger capable of standing up to his talent and skill is no short of one in a million, and on the oddstance of such happening, it would become a main goal of his to render such a thing as blasphemous, whether through insults of the cold metallic edge of his blade.
The man has spent almost a century on his own, away from others save for those who'd fell to his blade. This distance, per say, has turned the Quincy warrior cold, and almost complettly apathetic. If not his family or the Quincy regime as a whole, Itada cares very little.
He holds great disdain for both races, although his hate for hollows may be a little unjustified, his thinking has been manipulated by the teachings instilled in him since a young boy and not of his own voalition. Regardless, his beliefs hold true to this day, and by the grip of his own hand will he cut them down almost as quickly as they appear.
The Soul Society on the other hand— such a deep-rooted hate is justified. To think they consider themselves better and more in control of the Earth than the mortals that actually inhabit it.. and to take that belief and sanction the slaughter of the Quincy for no other reason than to further their own agenda. This is a hate that runs deep, and although many have been cut down by the Sōsuke over the years it seems to never dissipate. Another hatred embedded through teachings, and yet for some reason, as wise as he is, Itada has never come to question why.
To him, it's a dog eat dog world.. a thinking similar to that of the hollow breeds.
Goals & Achievements:
The Sōsuke possesses a singular goal: to protect the Earth and the Quincy regime from the threats of the immortal.
Itada has achieved naught but control of the Sōsuke Clan, as well as the murder of countless souls— Shinigami, Hollow, and Mortal alike. In addition, he has learned of the many artifacts surrounding his heritage, and although he has not been able to master many of them, it certainly is on his agenda.
Itada's power manifests in two parts, the first being the mutation of his left eye which is known to manifest within select members of the Sōsuke Clan. Changing from the usual onyx color, it instead adopts a purplish tone with a number of concentric circles which surround the pupil in a ripple like pattern. On the two most inner rings one can see three tomoe upon each, very similar to the magatama the Sōsuke uses as their clan symbol. This eye, despite its appearance, provides no other benefit than allowing Itada to see both reiryoku and reishi, simply making it easier for him to use his innate ability to manipulate the both for his own agendas.
The main power, and his signature ability, is the ability to create and cast illusions upon his enemy. At it's base level, which is done by simply manipulating either his own reiryoku, or the reishi present in the air around him to create optical illusions. Although these illusions can be anything and possess characteristics of the actual thing and its' spiritual presence, they are incredibly basic and have no physical substance what so ever.
It is in the next phase of the power that these illusions become much more dangerous. Using the gift of vision granted by his eye to manipulate spiritual energy even further, Itada can infect his opponents with his own reiatsu and/or reishi under his direct control. To do this, the Sōsuke must inflict a wound upon the opponent which opens up a way into their body. Once this is done, it becomes a simple matter of implanting the spiritual presence into the victim.
Once infected, Itada's illusions become that much more real. Whilst he could create a copy of himself before that reflected him spiritually but could do nothing physically, with his reiryoku inside of a target that same illusion becomes not only that much more difficult to overlook, but would be able to cut his opponent as if it were using a real blade.
At the ripe age of five, Itada was gifted with a simple cross shaped pendant as a way to begin developing his spirital pressure. The only notable thing about the cross is that it is made up of the finest gold, yet a more deliberate inspection would show that such a pendant was tainted with the secret synthesized material unique to that of the Quincy.
D – The Dream
Rightfully so, Itada's schrift manifests itself as The Dream. As homage to the power of his illusions, as well as his goal of keeping the Earth safe from both Hollow and Shinigami alike, which is a dream in itself, the Sōsuke holds true to this ideal. Whether it be by carving a path of destruction through the castle that is Las Noches, or laying waste to all of the Seireitei, Itada plans to make this dream a reality, and transform the reality of both Shinigami and Hollow to nightmares.
