Wandering around the streets of Karakura Town after nightfall.
What could go wrong?
Upon arriving in Karakura Town, Ashlynn quickly realized that she really had no idea what she was doing. Though excited to be finally taking steps towards vengeance, she was also terrified of being around people again. The idea of venturing out in the sun, surrounded by strangers, didn't appeal to her in the slightest. Besides, she was hunting some kind of ghost monster. They're certainly not going to be wandering around in broad daylight, are they? So she waited until the sun went down, and wandered Karakura Town, avoiding the residential areas as best she could. She had sensed several impressively large spiritual presences when she arrived, but hadn't yet worked up the nerve to confront any of them. Once she had her bearings, she would consider making contact.
OTHER RACES Shinigami - Ashlynn has no idea that there exists a spiritual paramilitary organization dedicated to the redemption of Hollows and saving of Plus souls. Surely Karakura Town will eventually make up for this glaring hole in her supernatural education. Quincies - Despite being aware of the unusually high number of spiritually gifted humans in Karakura Town thanks to her sensory abilities, she does not know of the Quincies or their history. Hollows - Having only encountered one Hollow in her entire life, Ashlynn's knowledge of this race is sorely lacking, a fact that she intends to remedy as soon as possible. Arrancar - Ashlynn remains blissfully unaware that these hybrid monstrosities exist. Her reaction to discovering them would likely be less-than-pleasant.
CURRENT CANON GOALS
Make contact with any spiritual clans or organizations in Karakura Town.
Obtain as much information about the creatures known as Hollows as possible.
Now, here's the real question: How does she feel bout da normal hoomans?
Good question! She's already assumed that the spiritual presences she's felt are other gifted humans. Of course, whether or not she'll work up the nerve to talk to them is something else entirely! She's cautious, a little afraid, and probably aching for some proper conversation under all of that.
Seireitei is crumbling and the Gotei is a shell of its former self. Ravaged by the plague, the surviving Shinigami struggle to maintain the balance, but with so few of them left, the work is taxing and their fortress-city has fallen to neglect. Spread thin across all fronts, their diminished presence has been noted by friend and foe alike.
The Arrancar have rebuilt Las Noches and are rallying. The throne remains empty, but self-styled Espada have risen up from among them and are vying for control, each one endlessly testing the others’ weaknesses. Too evenly matched for any one of them to claim the crown, they bide their time, waiting for the opportune moment.
On Earth, all seems well—but there is a war being fought in the shadows as the mortals find themselves lacking the protection they once had and so sorely need. The Quincy, having realized the oppressive specter of the Shinigami is no more, are flourishing, and are fighting the Hollow-breeds with renewed vigor.
