Roy Blue convinced me to buy Rimworld. So I did. We decided to spice things up a notch for our first playthrough. Same seed, maximum sized map. Let's race. So! What is this game anyway? It's a nifty little creation that's kind of like a mix between Prison Architect and Dwarf Fortress, of course more simplistic than the latter. I've only done the tutorial so far but if you've played either of them, know that it shares many of its FUN elements. You control 1, 3, or 5 survivors in the rim world and try to survive. Lots of events happening, character relations forming, base building and of course raiders fucking your hard work up again.
Dic and I decided to start off with some BG people. I made Dicarus, Tony, and Takua. Dic made Jian, Breezey, and me. Keep in mind that aside from name, characters are all randomised. There's a mod that allows you to customise it but we're playing semi-vanilla for now. The only mod we installed is Phi, which allows us to trade with each other should we desire.

Okay, interesting! Here's what happened after that spider popped up!
Dicarus and Tony took great care of the bastard while Otto, Tony's precious cat, was watching. They are both a bit injured, but Takua was quick to start mending them.
At this point, I figured 'I should probably take care of that hive.'. Tony has a knife, so I sent him in for melee attacks. Dic has the big gun, so I made him shoot the hive. The hive tony was in front of.
After some more medication and all that jazz, I figured Tony would be the man to open these caskets. Little did I know I'd soon use them to store his corpse.
Do you see this shit? Tail and Takuya were just gonna go off, they wandered away! Hauke? FUCK Hauke. Motherfucker jumped out with a shotgun and killed Tokiyo and proceeded to burn the fucking shit out of all that we had built. I sent Dicarus to help, but he too soon got too injured to walk. He collapsed on his bed. Alive, yet already lost.
With Tokiyo shot dead before Otto's eyes, the poor bugger didn't know what to do.
Gone attacked Takua, he did.
Now remember, Takua isn't a violent person. Couldn't even hold a knife if he tried. Even chopping wood scares the man. When Otto assaulted him, he could only run to his house. The house Hauke was burning down.
Needless to say, Takua entered a shock when he saw all his comrades dead.
Otto? OTTO NO I KNOW YOU'RE MAD BUT A CAT CAN'T TAKE ON HAUK--
Thank you, Otto. Thank you for all that you have done.
Seireitei is crumbling and the Gotei is a shell of its former self. Ravaged by the plague, the surviving Shinigami struggle to maintain the balance, but with so few of them left, the work is taxing and their fortress-city has fallen to neglect. Spread thin across all fronts, their diminished presence has been noted by friend and foe alike.
The Arrancar have rebuilt Las Noches and are rallying. The throne remains empty, but self-styled Espada have risen up from among them and are vying for control, each one endlessly testing the others’ weaknesses. Too evenly matched for any one of them to claim the crown, they bide their time, waiting for the opportune moment.
On Earth, all seems well—but there is a war being fought in the shadows as the mortals find themselves lacking the protection they once had and so sorely need. The Quincy, having realized the oppressive specter of the Shinigami is no more, are flourishing, and are fighting the Hollow-breeds with renewed vigor.
