The air was filled with a silent chill as the young Crimson man walked along the streets of karakura. His large coat provided enough protection against the icy breeze that blew through out the sky. His fedora was cocked over his eyes as he weaved a path between the throng of people that crowded the streets.
His previous experience in the park had brought forth a thought into his mind about the things that had transpired. Zhuisin, his floating companion remained above him moving unhindered and without notice. It was a load off his shoulders for not having to explain about the peculiar individual above him.
From time to time people would sneak a glance in his friend's direction but as quickly as they would look they would turn away. It seems as if they dismissed the spirit as nothing more than a trick of the eye.
Continuing onward, he stopped at the intersection looking around at the surround city. His eyes absorbed the features of the town in it's entirety. The various scars of some large scale destruction existed on a multitude of buildings and along the streets. Even the people themselves had some scars of their own. The shifty movements, the darting eyes, and uneasiness were evident among the masses as they navigated throughout Karakura.
Lucian took in a deep breath and could feel that even the space itself contained a pulse of energy in it. It reminded him of his legion and zhuisin. The spiritual energy was high here. Looking up at zhuisin, he nodded towards him and gathered himself.
Walking into a small cafe along the street, he sat down on at the outside table. The smell of food wafted throughout the air as he rested in the chair. With his calculating eyes he studied the people as they moved, his crimson irises gathering all the features of the common people.
Sitting back in his chair, he turned to look up at zhuisin. "Zhui, what happened here? " His hand rested along the side of his head.
"I wish I could tell you but this is spiritual energy is unlike anything I've experienced. Its primal, almost savage in nature." Zhuisin floated beside the chair his arms behind his back, his white robe and mask giving out a slight glow. It was sometimes hard to imagine that he was a simple spirit.
Lucian made a slight noise of understanding and turned his attention back to the other people that filled the streets. (I need answers to what happened, without this information I wont be able to effectively move forward with my plan.)
