All players will receive 2 fate points for the duration of this mission. This is regardless of the normal rules for distributing fate points. Whether or not you use them this mission, you will lose them at the end of this mission. They do not count towards your normal number and will not be recorded in your stats tab. For information on how to use them, please read this thread.
For the purpose of this thread, the narrator "doing something" will result in either:
1 Fate Point: A piece of the records crumbles apart; a slab of the library or pile of books will obstruct your opponent's view (and your view of your opponent) in addition to automatically absorbing/blocking one attack.
2 Fate Points: Said rubble collapse will prevent your opponent from being able to dodge a single attack without spending BOTH of their actions next round dodging.
1 Fate Point: You may spend three rounds looking for a book and you may find it. The book cannot contain any information specific to another character unless it is false information/fiction or you have the controlling player's permission. The library is supposed to categorize them based on "fate", but the place is literally falling apart.
YOU MAY NOT USE YOUR NORMAL ALLOTMENT OF FATE POINTS IN THIS MISSION. FATE POINTS DO NOT RECOVER BETWEEN ROUNDS!
POST TIME LIMIT
All time limits and ghast stat attacks reset from previous rounds!
Players have 72 hours to post in each thread. If you pass the allotted time, you will be given a strike: you must now post within however much time you are allotted minus 24 hours and this becomes your new alloted time. After 3 strikes your allotted time becomes zero: your turn is skipped, your character is approached by a ghast who gives you a debuff and your opponent may attack as though your astral self was temporarily disconnected from your mind. The ghast will phase in and phase out in mere seconds and be unpercievable to your opponent.
Stamina will NOT regenerate between fights. Instead you will receive all remaining stamina your opponent had if you get their mark (be it from fighting or bargaining). You can never get more than your maximum stamina back, of course.
Whenever you are late for a post, as mentioned above, something bad will happen to you that will buff your opponent until the end of the fight. It depends on what marks you each have and who influenced your character the most.
Posting room description now.
